Giving Back
My Strategic Approach to Giving Back
I view community involvement not just as altruism, but as a high-leverage opportunity to apply product and strategy principles to social challenges. My approach is rooted in design thinking and measurable impact: I seek gaps where my skills in creative leadership, content production, mentorship, and operational discipline can amplify a non-profit’s mission.
Rather than just showing up, I focus on building sustainable internal systems—whether that means scaling volunteer teams, designing educational frameworks, or ensuring critical administrative and financial support. These three certificates showcase my versatility in providing full-stack impact: from creative strategy (Hemophilia Society) to educational empowerment (Ara Entrepreneurs) and operational execution (Avayeh Hamdeli). I treat every non-profit goal as a mission, delivering the same professional rigor as I would to a commercial product launch.

Role: Head of Volunteer Committee (Exhibitions & Festivals)
Timeline: 2017 – 2021
The Challenge: The Society needed to move beyond standard fundraising. They required organized, large-scale cultural events to destigmatize hemophilia and engage the general public, but they lacked a streamlined workflow for managing the volunteer workforce required to execute these events.
The Story: For four years, I treated the Volunteer Committee like a product team. As the Head of the sector, I oversaw the lifecycle of our cultural events—from initial planning and coordination to final execution. My role was to bridge the gap between the medical goals of the Society and the engagement needs of the public. I systematized how we deployed volunteers for exhibitions, ensuring that our “storytelling” on the ground was consistent and professional.

Role: Education & Skills Development Mentor
Timeline: 2023 – 2024
The Challenge: Many charitable initiatives focus on immediate relief, but Ara Entrepreneurs focuses on long-term self-sufficiency. The challenge was to design and execute educational programs that didn’t just teach theory, but provided actionable skills to help beneficiaries enter the workforce or start their own small ventures.
The Story: Drawing on my background as an IELTS tutor and a business strategist, I approached this role with a focus on “educational ROI.” I didn’t want to just deliver lectures; I wanted to ensure knowledge transfer. I collaborated with the institute members to structure educational programs that fostered constructive interaction—moving from passive listening to active skill-building. It was about giving aspiring entrepreneurs the confidence to apply what they learned.

Role: Operational Support & Cross-Functional Translator
Timeline: 2022 – 2023
The Challenge: To scale humanitarian aid effectively, a non-profit requires a robust, professional administrative backbone. Avayeh Hamdeli needed a dedicated volunteer who could handle sensitive financial and administrative support while also acting as a communication bridge through translation for international or specialized correspondences.
The Story: I focused on reinforcing the foundational operations, viewing the organization’s administration as the critical platform that enabled all front-line activities. My work involved ensuring compliance, organizing critical documents (the “Administrative & Financial Support” component), and utilizing my language skills to facilitate external communication. This role was about professional rigor—applying the same professional ethics to volunteer finance and admin as I would to a SaaS product launch. My contribution was ensuring the machinery of compassion ran smoothly, freeing others to focus directly on beneficiaries.

Volunteering as a Strategy Lab
My engagement across the Iranian Hemophilia Society, Ara Entrepreneurs Charity, and Avayeh Hamdeli has not simply been community service; it has been a practical lab for my core professional strengths:
Product Ownership (Hemophilia Society)
I defined, planned, and executed large-scale events as if they were GTM strategies, managing cross-functional teams (volunteers) from concept to execution.
Mentorship & Growth (Ara Entrepreneurs)
I applied my expertise in business design and communication to develop and deliver high-impact educational products, proving my ability to foster skill acquisition and self-sufficiency.
Operational Versatility (Avayeh Hamdeli)
I provided critical back-office support (administrative, financial, and translation), demonstrating that I am equally effective in high-level strategy and detail-oriented operational tasks.
Collectively, these experiences demonstrate a deep commitment to impact-driven leadership and show that my professional ethics, strategic planning, and creative execution are fully transferable across commercial, educational, and humanitarian contexts—a foundation I am eager to apply to innovation and growth in the European market.
